Unused & Sealed Rare Vintage Bone & Bamboo Mah Jong Set/game In A Fabric Case
This is a vintage Man Jong set in a cloth covered carrying case. The tiles are unused and sealed (please see photographs). The cloth and the interior of the case itself is a little faded due to age. There is a'Standard Rules' booklet enclosed.
Printed on the reverse of the booklet is Chanzhou Boyauan Art And Craft Com. There are 144 playing tiles (pieces) in total PLUS 4 tiles marked'P' and 4 blank tiles. Each tile is made from bone and backed by bamboo wood. These tiles are divided into HONOUR TILES & SUIT TILES (28 tiles). In addition there are 12 dragon tiles, 16 wind tiles, 36 character tiles, 36 circle tiles and 36 bamboos.There are 4 dice and 4 counters also. Each tile measures 2.2cm across and 3cm long and is 1cm deep.
The case when closed and full measures 32cm long 20cm across and 4.5cm deep. This is from a smoke and pet free, seaside home and I welcome any questions.
