Elegantly Carved Wood Chess Playing Pieces with Wood Game Board. Would make a great gift or keep for yourself! The chess pieces are made of wood. Very nicely designed carved pieces here.

Just a beautiful set here. There is felt on the bottom of most of the pieces. Did not notice any pieces that have been repaired, but no guarantees of that. No case for the playing pieces comes with the set.

Some minor wear and tear to the pieces, but all intact. We have wiped them down, could use a little better cleaning done to them.

Please view the pictures to observe what we are noting here. There is a wood game board. Some wear to the edges of the board, some minor finish loss.

The veneer has pulled apart on one end probably from being laid down hard. Green felt on the bottom of the playing board. Some wear to the felt. We have just wiped the pieces down.

Still could use some additional cleaning. The king is 4-5/8" tall, the queen is 4-5/8" tall, the pawns are 1-13/16 tall. The game board is 20 across on the four sides. The squares on the board are 2-1/8 across. Let us know if you have any questions or need additional pictures. We would venture to guess that the chess set dates back to the early 2000s. Don't be shy to make an offer, we are always open to reasonable suggestions.
