Crisis at Steamfall is a multi-faceted, action-building game that throws you into a uniquely-generated city where you will pursue extensive options for developing your character. Crisis at Steamfall offers fresh mechanisms and varied gameplay built into two distinct game modes.

Cause the crisis in the competitive variant or save the city in the fully cooperative scenario. Crisis at Steamfall: Genesis (game upgraded with the expansion and the upgrade/fix pack within it). The Genesis expansion for Crisis at Steamfall features a brand-new set of story cards for every original character, and introduces a few new characters as well.

Set in the days of Steamfall's rise and featuring streamlined new game modes, you will begin play with a single ability that defines your character's unique strengths. As the game progresses, you will shape your character's fate through a series of branching quests that gradually award new abilities as you progress through the story. Ultimately, the decisions you make will have consequences for the entire city through the implementation of a new and improved event system. This large expansion features over 150 cards that are compatible with both the cooperative and competitive base game modes. Included in these new cards is a large selection of items that focus on the item modification mechanic, a host of extraordinary new civilians, and many new secret locations with powerful, game-changing effects. Also included in the expansion is a set of rebalanced cards, updated rules for the base game, and extra tokens to help to spread the wealth around at high player counts. Genesis expansion box (includes the upgrade/fix pack inside the box - advised to do this straight away by the creator - see further back up this listing for details). Master Rulebook (replaces all previous rulebooks in both core/genesis boxes when implementing the fix/upgrade pack and all the content from the expansion box I believe). 2 stickers to fix the 2 new character boards in the Genesis expansion, detailed in KickstarterUpdate #36, but this is where it goes. 64 cards (the separate card pack you see in the listing pictures) as well as any unlocked stretch goals (outside of paid-for addons).

Addon - Premium card holder. Please note : The creator strongly urges to combine the expansion and upgrade/fix pack into the game from the off, due to the tweaks. Rule improvements, and so on. He mentions this in Update #34 from the Kickstarter campaign as follows. I have created a guide with card lists to aid with the merge of the expansion.

I wish you did not have to go through this, but the update is critical. It really is important to me that you do not try the base game without the expansion content. Included (default) P&P will be ONLY one of the following couriers: RoyalMail/ParcelForce, UPS, DHL, FedX/TNT or DPD. In ALL cases, whichever courier is chosen, the parcel will be both tracked and fully insured for peace of mind.

Most couriers allow for the recipient to get tracking updates so if at all possible, please send me a message to detail any specific instructions i. Not vital, as i'll add/send tracking info over manually anyhow but preferred where possible.
